With all of our proposals, we send you our cost breakdown line by line so it’s transparent and you can see exactly what’s being done. If you receive a quote that’s significantly less than us, ask them to send the breakdown so you can compare apples to apples.

For WordPress websites, it’s a one-time cost. For Shopify websites, Shopify charges $29.99 USD per month.

Although we can, we prefer our clients to get their own hosting. This way if the client is unhappy with our services, they can take their business anywhere. We have seen too many clients who came to us where the previous agency owns their website. It’s a bad situation to be in, so we always suggest clients take control of their own domain name and web hosting. We however can help you set up with Blue Host for instance, and give you the passwords that you can change once we complete the project.

Every client is entitled to 20 loyalty free images at Shutterstock.com. If the client needs photographs to be taken, we can recommend photographers or give your photography art direction.

We will provide a content guideline to help you build content. We ask our client to do the first draft. If requested, we have a content writer who can help re-writer or edit for a small fee (depending on the number of words, ballpark $600-$800 for rewriting 8 pages of the website.)

We charge $100 per month for on-going maintenance that will include 1.5 hours of work per month. If it doesn’t get used up, we will carry forward.

We offer 1-hour complimentary training at the end of the project so clients will know how to update and maintain their website. 90% can be done in-house after the training. However, some clients are very busy, so we can maintain on their behalf for $100 per month.

99% of our clients are very happy with our design work (you can read our reviews on Google). We have a solid design system where we will be providing clients with 2-3 design options with working sessions together. This meaning, we will be sitting next to each other and edit every single detail from colour, to typography to photos until you are 100% happy or we will give your money back.

There are certainly strategies. Some you can do yourself and it’s free. We are happy to show you. Other strategies such as SEO, we can manage for you. SEO an on-going effort, it takes roughly 3-6 months to see great results. Our average cost is about $500 / month. We usually do this in phase 2 of the project.

Yes, we can certainly can as well. We call this phase 2 of the project as it will be on-going. Depending on your business and objectives, some items we can help you with and some items we can teach you so you can do them yourself.

50% deposit (your commitment to the project and our commitment to you.) 25% upon design approval. Final 25% once the site is live.

For web design, we guarantee 48 hours turn around (2 working days) upon receipt of your materials.

At Magenta, we guarantee your project cost by providing you the project breakdown line by line. Unless you are asking for significant add-ons, we guarantee your project cost will not change. If we go over the budget due to our miscalculations, we pay for the costs. Not our clients. We hate surprises and we are sure client wouldn’t like them either.

Certainly. We can always work in phases. Build something for you to start and continue to add as your business grow. Another option is we can build the foundation and teach you so you can build the rest of the site.

We find this important as most business owners fall into working in the business, not working on the business. By doing a quarterly meeting (completely complimentary), we help our clients refocus and drive the business forward.
